Taking Dessert Photography at The Lift

! When capturing the “delicious” colors, you better get the “sweet” elements in order to take “tasty” photos. But for reals, I had such a blast shooting photos over at The Lift restaurant over in Jackson, Wyoming. Not only were they incredible to work with but once they wheeled the desserts out I was in heaven. One of the best reasons was the fact that you often times get to eat the desserts afterwards, and yes, I almost entered a food coma at the end of the day. Worth it.

One of the best parts too was capturing those moments when people were tasting those delicious treats, which at first I felt hesitant about because I hate photos of me when I’m in the middle of snacking, but finding those right moments when the model is just enjoying the food is fantastic!

Dessert photography opens up great opportunities such as couples pictures if you are looking for photography ideas. I don’t think Ben and Janae actually knew I was taking pictures of them but they were just already enjoying the desserts so much that they didn’t need any model coaching in the slightest; pure bliss!
